Hailing from the state of Hidalgo and sometimes also seen in Puebla, this bean is like a close cousin to what we know as the pinto bean.
San Franciscan beans have a very resistant skin, which makes them more versatile and usable in salads and composed dishes. They have a flavor with a mineral hint and a meaty and somewhat granular consistency. Its cooking broth is dark in color and rich in flavor.
The San Francisco bean is one of the 14 varieties that today make up La Comandanta's Limited Harvest Creole Bean line. Due to its scarcity, we take great care of the offer so that Mexican families know and enjoy the various Creole species all year round, preserving the country's gastronomic treasures.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us, we will refund the purchase price or exchange those products in the country in which they were purchased, subject to the following conditions :
- Items must be returned within 7 days of purchase with the original receipt or other proof of purchase.
- You must provide your name and address. - The returned items must not be damaged, broken, or used. The returned items must be with original tags/labels attached. - If you request a refund, the purchase price (excluding delivery charges for online) will be refunded to you using the original payment method once we have received the returned item back and confirmed that it meets conditions 1-4 above. You are responsible for any costs associated with returning the item to us including any currency conversion costs.
Note:Shipping costs can only be refunded on faulty items that have been purchased separately. Shipping will not be refunded if there are other items listed on the invoice when a faulty item is returned.
