The Rubiejo Crianza 2012 Red Wine is a wine with twelve months of aging wineries and vineyards Alto Sotillo, located in the Burgos town of Sotillo de la Ribera and framed in the Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero. These wineries are the result of three generations dedicated to the world of viticulture. The brothers Miguel and Carlos Calvo have followed the path initiated by their father Antonio and his grandfather Pantaleón. Currently, the vineyards have 25 hectares of Tempranillo, with some old vines planted by Pantaleón himself. A wine with a traditional flavor to accompany your meals, dinners and appetizers.

Intense red cherry red wine with purple trim. On the nose, powerful and intense, with notes of fruits of the forest and wood, even some mineral note. On the palate, powerful and pleasant, with a round finish and a long journey.
Aged: from 12 to 14 months in new and semi-new American and French oak barrels.
Graduation: 14%.
Optimum service temperature: 18ºC.

Currently, the vineyards have 25 hectares of Tempranillo, some old vines being planted by his grandfather Pantaleón. The harvest is carried out manually, making a first selection in boxes of 17 kg. In them, the grape is transferred to the winery for a second selection, getting to optimize its quality. The winery has a consignment of 125 American and French oak barrels. Since its inception, the wineries and vineyards Alto Sotillo were focused on four objectives: producing wines of the highest quality, maintaining a constant capacity for innovation, working in harmony with the environment and be useful to the community to which they belong.
